Habib Abdulrab Sarori (born 1956) is a professor of computer science, writer, and novelist
He was born in Aden and pursued higher studies in applied mathematics in France, obtaining a master’s degree in Informatics from the University of Paris 6 in 1983, followed by a PhD from the University of Rouen in 1987, and finally be Habilitation to supervise researches in 1992
Since 1992, he became a professor in the Mathematical and Software Engineering Department, at INSA de Rouen in Normandy university
He has published numerous scientific papers over the last four decades. He is also the author of textbooks in computer science
Habib Abdulrab Sarori has published literary works in both French and Arabic. His novel La reine étripée was published in 2000 in french, followed by 8 novels in Arabic
(some of them are translated in french and english)
His most recent novel being Wahi obtained the Katara award for Arabic novel, in 2019
He published also three cultural books in Arabic, as well as a long list of literary and cultural articles in many Arabic newspapers. Some articles in french: le Monde, Liberation
